johnpweber 0
Cool. Now I have another series to look forward to. I don't suppose Mr. Niles is involved in any way? I enjoyed the book that came out a few years back.
Tim Bradstreet 0
love 28 days later and the covers are awesome is there any chance of a flash back to Christopher Eccleston's chracter i would love to see you do a cover with him That would have been cool but no, I don't think his character makes it into the mix. We don't have permission to use likenesses anyway. Though my Selena model (whom I have not used yet) is strikingly similar physically to Naomie Harris, who played Selena in the film. The first four covers are big Selena shots as you see with the first two. I wasn't trying to reinvent the wheel They are pretty straight forward character motifs. Those first four may even seem a little repetitive conceptually but as I mentioned, as we move forward I'll be taking things in a new direction. Expect to see some stuff like I did with Scalped and like I've been playing with on Criminal Macabre. I have a license to experiment and I'll be making full use of that unless there will be further story arcs. With story arcs I at least like to keep things consistent within the confines of the story, so in cases like that I try to keep a similar feel/style working through the connecting issues. Shit, all I know at this point is that it will be some good 'ol post-apocalyptic fun - TB PS - No JWeb, unfortunately Niles is not in the mix. Bummer that, eh?

Jarlath 0
Did you do some image scaling? Looks like the DE she has is somehow smaller than real life, or she's an amazon in size. I could be whacked too and just the colours are messing with my perception...
irish46 0
Hey Tim, awsome man, simply awesome. I agree with JWeb, another series I'll enjoy reading. But your covers are going to steal the show man. Can't wait to see more of em! The Red and Black is sweet. I've been offline for a bit and I see I missed a few other posts. I am really digging the 2nd cover of the Punisher Noir. Just can't beat black and white for a Punisher cover man. Well done as usual.
Guest AdminGuyX
Very effective use of of color, filters, and silhouette skylines Tim. As usual. As fucking usual you jealousy inducing sumbitch. I think both of those images would make pretty kick ass posters too. Did Missy model for that? The Russian for the Noir book, man, that made me think of Doc Savage. In a good way. Who has the rights to that? The image is again a good use of silhouette and filters. I like the grenade pin, and the subway cars really make the whole piece POP. Looking forward to seeing this one in color. As much as I like the Cage B&W, I like it a bit more in color. I don't say that very often. You know Tim, I'm just gonna' throw this out there. If the rights for a DUNE comic book are not already snatched up, or hell even if they are, RAW needs to buy them. In the oddest way this noir work makes me want to see what you would do with the DUNE characters. Big time.

FADoss 0
I could see Tom Jane as Doc Savage.

Thomas Jane 0
dude i would KILL to be the DOC. Doc is probably the first pulp character i was introduced to at the ripe old age of 9. he knocked my down then and i just reread one of the great pulp novels, it's still freakin great! what a cast of characters. now is the time for a good Savage film. question is, would you do it period or up to date? i would vote period, without a doubt. there's just so much cool shit going on in the 30's - 40's and the ties were innocent enough to have a hero like Savage running the streets of the world. i see it like a cross between INDIANA JONES and the X-MEN. man i would kill to get the golden tan and the torn shirt. i actually did an homage to Savage in Mutant Chronicles, torn T-shirtin just the right places. i brought in photos of savage pulp covers to the costume dept. T Agreed.

Mike V 0
Now would be the time to be lobbying for the part, as I recall they are trying to start something up in 2010.
Guest AdminGuyX
Are you kidding me? PERIOD. You'd just fuck it up trying to update Doc Savage IMHO.

Definitely period piece and I was 7 or 8 when I saw the movie with Ron Ely - don't hate, I'm a chick so I had a baby crush and I dug it! Hey, at least I was exposed to the character in whatever way, shape, or form. man i would kill to get the golden tan and the torn shirt. i actually did an homage to Savage in Mutant Chronicles, torn T-shirtin just the right places. i brought in photos of savage pulp covers to the costume dept. T I love this, TJ - I love that you managed to homage Doc Savage in Mutant Chronicles! Was the costume dept, like "huh?" The total recall of your fandom brain is amazing ... Mike V 0
Post that Punisher meat slicer photo.
Tim Bradstreet 0
If I show the meat slicer shot then what possible reason would folks have to pick up my new book? I'll toss it up in the not too distant. I'm a little out of it the past few days fighting a killer flu, middle ear infection and fucking pink eye (which I picked up from my daughter). When I'm back to scratch I'll upload some new goodies including a personal piece which I've titled, "Hell Patrol". It's gonna rock yer socks. I KNOW Noeland's gonna love that one. It's a little different because it's just me doing what I want to do with no art direction but my own, just something I wanted to do on a whim. Maybe I'll post it later tonight. - TB
Mike V 0
Fair enough. I still have to get your book and Shock Festival, speaking of which are there plans for a Shock Festival 2? Because I got an idea for a poster, it's a zombie hooker porno theater siege concept. I'm telling you that's a winner right there.

Tim Bradstreet 0
Here's Hell Patrol. I also posted a detail in the pinned HOTB thread. Hope you dig. FADoss 0
The A10 is my favorite air frame of all time! Glad to see them make an appearance. This is AWESOME... And if it happens to be a film thing...who's dick do I have to suck?
Tim Bradstreet 0
Oh yeah, the 'Hog is just so absolutely badass to look at, even the new ones are cool as piss. Can't go wrong with that stubby twin tail, giant turbine shit. I'm thinking this is not too distant future with mostly current tech. But you can see I got one guy wired up to some kind of electro-pneumatic rail pistol so there's some odd tech going on. Then there's also the plate armor (I'm thinking constructed from some kind of Kevlar) that's retro like Roman Legion stuff. I'd love to use the name "Renegade Legion" for this but FASA had a game back in the day by the same name so I'm not into stealing even though this is a completely different concept. The Warthogs fit right in because I envision this being a future where the corporations have shit on a shingle, there's no new big tech being made so armies have to make the best of it with what exists. The Warthog is like the airplane equivalent of a Lee-Enfield or a Garand, it takes a licking and keeps on ticking, not hard to find parts etc . . . That's why I used the A-10 and not jet fighters or helicopters . . . I'm percolating on a story. - TB
