I spoke with the director last night who let me know that Isaiah Washington has also signed on (likely a bad guy role as he is really good at em) and shooting is likely to take place in San Diego but dates are still trying to get locked down after Salvage finishing shooting.

Nice!

Lonesome man with hat in a dark alley, dark blue tone... I can hear the deaden trumpet play...

Is it possible to add cigar smoke, a gun and blood? We need blood. And a gun. And cigar smoke. Don't we?

And a cool car!

And a femme fatale!

Ooohhh... am I missing Malone too much?

.......and the backstory being given in a voiceover by TJ in his own inimitable style......I can hear it now!  😄

Gotta say, not seen Malone fully yet - anxious to rectify this oversight as soon as possible!!  Read so much about it and it sounds fantastic - obvious TJ bias aside, is it a recommended watch?

With the delay in Salvage this has now become Toms next project. Shoot to commence shortly (trying to get dates and alignment together now)

From that teaser, I'm hoping for a SciFi bias (evil aliens, ha ha!), not a horror. I really don't like horror films because I'm a wuss with a vivid imagination so if it *is* the latter, I probably won't watch it. No matter how much I enjoy someone's work, there are some compromises I'm just not prepared to make! Of course, if it's just a straight up crime drama with humies offing each other, that's fine, I can deal with that. 😋

I'll be keeping a watchful eye on this board... and hoping for aliens. Or secret government experiments. Either or both would work for me.

(When I first saw the title, I thought it was going to be about the band, Crimson Blues!)

No Sci-Fi in this one, straight up thriller.

Agreed, Roger Eliis Frazier is a great director and knows how to work with a small budget. If its gritty and dark as I think its gonna be should be good fun indeed!

Has anyone here already seen one of Frazier's movies?

A couple. He did Maximum Security with Dolph Lundgren and a film back in 2014 called Misfire With another martial artist called Gary Daniels both we really enjoyable given the budget they must have been on.
