  1. for me it was always about frank, i mean i love the whole superhero thing but its hard to really get close to something like that. but for me, he was someone that could be real, his anger, his need for revenge, no matter what the out come was.....Mr. Jane was the first time i saw what i pictured in my mind frank would act like...how he would sound, outside the comic i came to love.....i don't know what this new film will be like, and being someone who loves the comic so much maybe i might be too jaded and hard about it....but i do always have one thing.....that special edition.....i pop it in
  2. oh yeah....and the other thing i always thought that would be cool is if they asked people from a forum to give a brief idea of a plot and they went through and weeded through them all and had a screenwriter polish it up to a real script. that would be the ultimate fan based movie....of course there is probably so much red tape involved with something like that....but it still would be awesome...
  3. ..but of course the writer has to type better than me.....and come up with an hour or so of stuff to circle around that plot....
  4. i remember from the comics when frank when to rykers island and ran into jigsaw there, beat the crap out of him and teamed up with a mafia boss in order to break out of prison, which he did in the end....i always thought spun correctly thought would have made a cool punisher flick...
  5. Mr. Bradstreet, at the end of this month i'm going to DragonCon in Atlanta, Georgia. Would you ever be considering going to that event or anyone from RAW? That would be awesome, but i do understand we are really far away from Cali....
  6. hey i have another question for you guys, is that neck brace around him a part of the flak jacket? i remember having it go around like a collar, but not all the way around. it threw me off the first time i saw it.....
  7. thanks......hey isn't 111 pages of one thread about a movie a record? if not it's got to be close.....
  8. well maybe if Mr. Bradstreet wanders in here, he can clear it for sure for us.....
  9. oops i meant Justaguy by the way.....not Justsomeguy....
  10. thankyou Justsomeguy........i'd shake your hand but we have to wait until the smoke from this firefight going on around us clears alittle.......but it is kind of cool to have something like a hotel named after you in a movie..a little niche in the stone of immortality...
  11. does anyone know, maybe it's been asked already, sorry if it has, but in the trailer for the movie you can see him look up at a hotel Bradstreet? is that an inside thing for Mr. Bradstreet or just nothing? Thanks.....
  12. Aurelia, i really do commend you for saying what you said. i guess i might seem way too strong for something like this. i really don't mean to come off as some kind of robo-movie cop about something like this, but it really does touch a nerve for me. even to see 65 people read this thread but only you reply to it even more shows the way we feel as consumers of this industry. basically i think when someone downloads a movie on their computer, they think, well i'm just one person and this is just one movie, what possible harm could that be doing.....a simple tap on the shoulder of all the people
  13. i know this area is for Mr. Jane but i believe what i have to say applies to people like him and Mr. Bradstreet. I have a hobby and thats collecting DVD's. When i go to the store and buy a new DVD with my hard earned money i do it not just because i like the movie but also because i know the people who made that movie are going to get their money, even if it's pennies. I believe if they don't then slowly but surely production companies won't be able to make these films anymore. Awhile back when i was waiting for the Punisher movie to come out, i saw guys at work with pirated copies. They said
  14. Thanks Mr. Jane for the comment. Ironically i was able to get out of the golds membership sense i posted that question. I'm still on the lookout for a smaller gym in my area, but i believe your right, because being there and not in the house does get me in that mindset of the workout more. Thanks again and thanks to everyone else for thier input.
  15. Thanks guys for your advice, my schedule makes it hard for me to go early because i have to be at work at 530am but the later might be a good thing, i mean i know i cant be alone in the grief dept when you go to the gym and your in a groove, you have a good burn going, and you loose it because some guy wants to stare at himself for 20 minutes using the weights you need. and golds does an awesome job of making you give your first born just to get out of thier contract. But i read an article about actors working out at home for roles they have to get ready for, and it made me think, why not me t
  16. Mr. Jane, i was wondering what your thoughts were on the difference between having a membership to a gym and buying equipment for the home. I'm at wits end with Golds gym, for six months now i try my best to work out there and most of the time i have to wait for certain equipment to open. I have thought about quitting Golds and paying a new membership at a smaller place, but before i do that i was wondering if i should just take that money instead and buy equipment for home. Any thoughts on it, working out at home as to working out in a public place.....heck i dont know really, i just thought
  17. thank you Andrew, this is a cool website, hope to become a regular.
  18. if i have a question for Mr. Jane do i just ask it or do i need to make a new thread? I'm new here.....any help would be awesome, also too my question would be out there for the members too...once again thanks. btw the reason why i ask is because it doesnt relate to this thread but this one is the most recent.
