  1. Bump, just so peeps see the news... It is May, right? I keep thinking it's still April... Jen
  2. I'm into Deafheaven at the moment. The band's album Roads To Judah was released recently blew me away with its combination of melody and aggression. I love the mix of the sublime and the ferocious, with a glorious guitar frisson that reaches for the heavens amid a brutal assault of rapid-fire drumbeats and lead "singer" George’s viciously roaring vocals. Check out "Violet": Jen
  3. So, is this movie playing near anyone? Has anyone seen it yet? It came out in limited release this Friday and it ain't playin' near me... I saw a blurb online about Miley Cyrus hanging out with the director a couple days before the film's opening. Come to think of it, they didn't even do a red carpet premiere, did they?! Talk about dropping a film! I mean, come on, Miley has a pretty big fanbase and is in the news a lot, and Demi Moore's got a high profile. You would think someone would want to capitalize on all that. Jen
  4. So cool! I haven't seen it yet, but will at some point. I'm hoping you're both in it a lot! Jen
  5. Awesome news, Tom! It sounds like you've been a busy, busy bee. Can't wait to hear the EP or files... Well, I'm into the actual physical format of an EP. It's great that you're putting it out that way, as well as vinyl. Jen
  6. Ugh. Yet again, LionsGate drops the ball and is not focused on promoting LOL, which will open in limited release on May 4th in the U.S. in supposedly 100 or more movie theaters. Read the disappointing details here: http://www.ontheredcarpet.com/Miley-Cyrus-long-awaited-movie-LOL-gets-limited-re\ lease-date/8630200 Jen
  7. Here's link to 2nd trailer for LOL, but I don't think Tom's in it. It focuses on Miley Cyrus's character and her boyfriend. Here's the link: http://www.monstersandcritics.com/movies/news/article_1696652.php/New-trailer-fo\ r-Miley-Cyrus-high-school-romance-LOL Jen

  12. Hiya Joyce - Thanks for your kind words. I wish I had more time and patience to upload actually photos here, but to do so, you have to have some kind of account like Photobucket, and then upload the pix from there... If I could just upload pix from my Yahoo Groups on Tom, that would be awesome, but it's not possible... Jen

  19. Hey all - I saw the episode and have a few comments. Sorry if it's all a bit random and I don't know character names - oh, and there might be spoilers (and there will be blood...well, no, not really...) for the Plumed (I wrote Plumped at first!) Serpent. I thought this episode was pretty entertaining. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to understand or get into the mythology presented, but, hey, knights and dragons and a damsel in distress are straightforward enough for me. I liked the rapport between the main Grimm guy and Monroe (I've seen that actor a lot before, but I don't know in

  22. Welcome, Joyce! Glad you could catch Dark Country. What a stunning film! Jen
  23. Sorry for the lateness, but hope you had an awesome birthday and didn't get too roughed up by that frightening bear! Jen
  24. I totally agree! It's aggravating and disheartening at times, when I'm searching for news about Tom, that some of the opinions are so negative. But, then, I also see a lot of great comments and critiques too, so that's all good. I think that, when someone in the public eye doesn't "play the game" and act a certain way and say certain accepted things, then feathers get ruffled. I think the other problem is that, once the media or whoever, starts to nitpick about someone and it's all there in print online "forever", then other people feel they can just jump in the mud and start slingin
