  1. I'd love to do an interview with you, Tom, for music site Delusions Of Adequacy. I mean, since Rusty Blades has disappeared...otherwise it would've been cool to interview him. Jen
  2. Coolness! I love the upfront vocals and not too much "adornment" - letting the sentiments shine in their rough glory and pain and mystery. Jen

Hung, Season 3, on DVD and BluRay on September 4th in USA: "HBO Video and distributor Warner Home Video have today announced that the final season of the show, Hung - The Complete 3rd Season, is coming to Blu-ray Disc and DVD on September 4th." http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/news/Hung-Season-3/17057 Jen
  4. That's what this site is saying: "Director Wayne Kramer has set Matt Dillon, Brendan Fraser, Elijah Wood, Vincent D’Onofrio, Pell James, Thomas Jane, Lukas Haas, Chi McBride, Ashlee Simpson, Kevin Rankin, DJ Qualls, Michael Cudlitz and Norman Reedus for Pawn Shop Chronicles. They join Paul Walker, who was set to star and produce. Jordan Schur, CEO and co-chairman of Mimran Schur Pictures, revealed the cast just as shooting gets underway in Baton Rouge, La." http://www.deadline.com/2012/06/matt-dillon-brendan-fraser-elijah-wood-vincent-donofrio-join-wayne-kramers-pawn-shop-chronicles/#u
  5. Oh, I guess the smily face did work!
  6. Hey Joyce - I hope you're having (or had) a wonderful birthday! Yes, that's a smily face; the emoticons aren't working for me at the moment... LOL Jen
  7. Links to behind-the-scenes footage from I Melt With You at YouTube: Part 1, where we get to see a shirtless Tom, a cigar-smoking Tom, and a candle-on-tray-holding Tom: and Part 2, where we get to see a shirtless (again!) Tom, a walking-past-graffiti Tom, and the dune tumble: Jen
  8. I just found the thread about this in the Comic and Films section of this Forum at http://rawstudios.invisionzone.com/index.php?showtopic=1803 , but I figure I'll leave this info up here in the TJ section, since this is specifically about him and his relation to the project. Jen
  9. I'm not sure what the official word is yet, but here's one of the several articles now found online: "Darabont is in talks with Thomas Jane (Hung), whose HBO series was recently cancelled after three seasons, to play mobster Bugsy Siegel... Though Jane was unavailable for the pilot, which wrapped production over the weekend, The Hollywood Reporter has learned he will likely be involved if TNT orders the project to series." http://collider.com/la-noir-thomas-jane/170315/ Jen
  10. LOL will be available on BluRay on July 31st. Details here: "In an early announcement to retailers, Lionsgate says 'LOL' is coming to Blu-ray on July 31." and "The Blu-ray will feature 1080P video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 soundtrack, and supplements include: Commentary with director Lisa Azuelos and cast members Ashley Hinshaw & Lina Esco, The Cast of LOL, Like Mother, Like Daughter, and Lots of Love For Lisa Azuelos." http://www.highdefdigest.com/news/show/Disc_Announcements/Lionsgate/LOL_Announced_and_Detailed_for_Blu-ray_/9514 Jen
  11. Here's the link to a recent Interview (text, but from a phone interview) with Tom and Tim where they go into more detail about what's up their sleeve(s) - like The Magnificent Death, an Alien Pig Farm 3000 movie, The Lycan, and the hold-up of the Glen Sherly movie - and more. Check it out here: http://collider.com/thomas-jane-tim-bradstreet-dark-country-magnificent-death-interview/170167/ Jen
  12. Here's the link to an article/review that goes a teeny bit more in depth about Tom's role in this movie: "Alan (Thomas Jane) is the ex-husband of Anne (Demi Moore) and Lola's father - a man who can't seem to let go of his ex-wife." and "The other relationship minefield concerns Lola's mother and father - a marriage that refuses to die - and the persistent cop who adds to the complicated threesome." http://www.meathchronicle.ie/plus/goingout/articles/2012/05/30/4010684-film-file--lol/ Jen
  13. This is for Esco especially - You may want to check out the band Sleep Maps, if you want a more instrumental vibe, but still some pace and agression that's not black metal, etc... There are some "talking vocals" in the songs at times, like what you'd hear on a 3am transmission on a TV with rabbit ears, or something like that. The fast drumming and ascending guitars of "Men Against the Stars" is pretty cool: Jen
  14. Here's just a little link with some first hand views of the event: "The laid-back, two-day comic book convention included graphic novels, comic books, cartoons, fine art, entertainment, games and costumers at the San Jose Convention Center." http://www.gilroydispatch.com/arts_and_entertainment/thousands-attend-big-wow-comic-fest/article_3a930bcc-a527-11e1-8885-001a4bcf6878.html Jen
  15. Okay, this is just too funny not to post, even though the blogger slices 'n' dices the movie... It's basically him and his girlfriend/wife watching the movie and what she's saying interspersed with his inner monologue, or something like that. Here's the link, but only read if you've seen the movie or it will be spoiled for ya, and if you have a sense of humor...: http://www.prettyalltrue.com/2012/05/straight-from-the-bottle/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=straight-from-the-bottle Jen
  16. Here's the link to detailed review of LOL, and it ain't that pretty. LOL "Anne's dilemma is determining her attraction between two men. Should she keep on having physical dalliances with her non-dependable ex- husband (Thomas Jane)? Maybe Anne should start fresh and cultivate a brand new intimate bond with a drug law enforcement officer (Jay Hernandez)?" http://voices.yahoo.com/lol-film-review-11331914.html?cat=25 Jen
  17. Here's the link to a review and trailer of Comic-Con Episode IV: A Fan's Hope with a brief mention of Tom in the text: http://www.spectator.co.uk/arts-and-culture/night-and-day/7848523/a-fans-hope-ne\ eds-more-real-fans.thtml Jen
  18. Just checked that official site out again today and it looks like Tom is still attached to this. Not sure what stage it's all at. There was some more info about the film out today at this site: http://awesomebmovies.com/2012/05/thomas-jane-is-the-redeemer/ Jen
  19. Just another link to tidbit with interesting quotes from the director about the film. Also, a rundown of where the film was released by state - No New York release! Crazy... ""I really thought this movie could be universal," Lisa Azuelos, the director of both the American and French versions of "LOL," told Ben Fritz and Amy Kaufman of the Los Angeles Times. "Usually teen movies are tender or scary or have vampires in them, but they’re never realistic. This story isn’t too dirty and not too stupid." Unfortunately, the Cyrus version of "LOL" seems to have gotten caught up in studio
  20. Get thee to the theater double time!! Well, or wait for the DVD release where you can watch the Miley Cyrus-driven vehicle in the comfort and safety (away from the public - LOL) of your own place. Jen
  21. Ugh, well, I guess I have to post this disappointing news about the box office returns for LOL... The thing is, what did they expect when the film wasn't promoted at all and there was no red carpet or interviews with Miley or Demi! I mean, come on! I don't care if they have a lot of "negative press". LionsGate was in control of this movie and they should back up what they produce... http://movies.yahoo.com/blogs/movie-talk/miley-cyrus-lol-bombs-box-office-180407154.html Jen
  22. Deafheaven should release an instrumental album...
  23. Just FYI, Tom is a 'special guest' - "Also Appearing as Special Celebrity Guests will be: Actor, writer, and producer Thomas Jane, star of "The Punisher" film and the HBO favorite series "Hung", is also the author of the comic book series Bad Planet!." http://www.bigwowcomicfest.com/news_and_press/2012/4/artists_ron_lim_and_mike_choi_added_to_big_wow_comicfests_guest_list/ Just another reason to wish I was in California...
