...and Tom talks more about 3D: "Jane's looking to get a second 3D directorial effort off the ground. "I've just written a western and I'd love to shoot in 3D," he reveals. "I don't know if it will be possible, but everything that I work on I want to shoot in 3D because I believe in the future of 3D. I believe that when I'm an old man every movie theater in the country will be in 3D, and it'll be perfectly crystal clear, glasses-less 3D on a giant movie screen." Tom was at premiere of 2nd season of Boardwalk Empire - and also at HBO's Emmys AfterParty. That's all I know right now, except that I saw a pic of Tom from the Boardwalk prem, and he looked sharp! Jen

Link to review of Hung, Season 2, on BluRay: "I like Thomas Jane, and his performance is great. When left to his own devices, he strikes a strong balance here between sensitivity and manliness." http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/50190/hung-...-second-season/ Jen

Thanks for the perspective on this! It's hard to know what's what when reading these gossipy-type blogs and whatnot online... Jen

New review of The Punisher here: "...the acting in The Punisher is mostly solid. Thomas Jane (who many believe to be the best Frank Castle we've had yet) is seriously perfect in the title role, and I honestly wouldn't mind if they brought him back to reprise the role (whether it's in a TV show or Marvel Studios' pending reboot). Tom might also have been at the Rachel Roy fashion show, but I'm not sure. I found this line: "Hung star, Thomas Jane, impressed his girfriend by introducing her to the designer.", in a news blurb, but when I went to the whole article, there's no mention... http://www.stylecaster.com/fashion/15511/n...chel-roy#142650 Jen

Tom was at the Herve Leger show and ended up on the model runway You can read about it here: "No, you did not just huff some hallucinogens: He CAME BACK INTO THE SHOW. VIA THE RUNWAY. Tom clarifies certain statements he made in the previous interview listed here, about Hung and his role on it: "...we deal with a lot of cool stuff, you know, and I'm very proud to say the things I get to say about human sexuality on my show."" and "Jane told us. "I'm sorry for people who don't know and take anything I say too seriously. Nothing I say should be taken too seriously." http://nymag.com/daily/entertainment/2011/...e_gay_hung.html Jen

sidewaysgaze replied to ReCoil's topic in Thomas Jane
This 'Disney'-related article on a non-Disney seems to confirm the October release date for both UK (the 21st as previously stated) and US (a general 'October'). You'd think they'd get it together by now for a US release! "The release dates, include several countries but not the specific U.S. premiere date for an unknown reason.. Release dates shown (as announced) below: UK – 21 October 2011 Czech Republic – 9 March 2012 Lithuania – 9 March 2012 Hungary – 29 March 2012 Despite rumors, U.S. has been set for an early “October” release.." http://access.disneych -
