  1. My favorite western is The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. I love the characters, the greed, the music, and the end rules. I love Sergio Leone movies. I love Val Kilmer in Tombstone as Holliday. Let's see... Conagher (Sam Elliot), Red Headed Stranger (Willie Nelson), Open Range, the new 3:10 to Yuma... I also love the old Akira Kurosawa Samurai films, which really set the tone of Leone's films. I whole heartedly recommend Yojimbo and Seven Samurai. They're really westerns with swords.
  2. Bernie Wrightson is hands down my all-time favorite artist. I enjoy drawing monsters in my spare time and I have to say he's been a huge influence.
  3. I like Tennant, but I still prefer Tom Baker. My main complaint of the three new seasons is there's too much Earth and not enough alien worlds.
  4. I got in the latest posthumous Frank Zappa release yesterday called Wazoo. It's a two disc live set from the early '70s with his big band with horns...long jamming instrumentals... Opeth's Ghost Reveries has been in the car for many many months still... I've also been listening to more Zeppelin recently as a result of the re-release of The Song Remains The Same and the reunion gig. Pink Floyd's Obscured By Clouds has been in the car this week too.
  5. One of my favorite artists is Frank Frazetta. I first became familiar with his stuff when I was a kid in the '80s and bought this old Conan paperback with the coolest cover I had ever seen: The Barbarian. Frank Frazetta's Website
