Just discovered this amazing song by Sigur Ros, an Icelandic band I think. It's called Untitled 3: Leona won the UK version of American Idol and she was incredible. I went to a listening party for her album and was blown away. She will be around for a long time. Check her out here: Official YouTube Channel for Leona Lewis Going to check out Sigur Ros; thanks for the link!

You kinow, I'm suprised, but this is really pretty damned good, I'm suprised because the American Idol version of American Idol has never had this kind of talent...and the talent is pretty also! With Leona, definitely not surprised. She was a winner from the beginning. I am very happy for her and I pray she goes far because she can truly sing. Another one who knocks me out is Paul Potts, the winner of Britain's Got Talent. I never cried so hard; his performance was simply incredible. Got me back into opera... Here is where they announced him as the winner: Paul's bio: Paul Potts Biography Here was a guy who was bullied all his life; and now big star. Karma is a bitch... shadowmach 0
Today, I've been mostly playing the ultimate Pavarotti collection... Other than that here's what else has been played: Don Henley- New York Minute (as much as I can't stand an adult pop radio station at my work, this one is still one of my fave classic songs) The Kills- What New York Used To Be Jonathan Coulton and that's it I suppose. sidewaysgaze 0
Nine Inch Nails - The Slip How is it? Is it anything like Year Zero, or stuff that Trent has done before? I haven't heard the songs yet, so I'm curious as to the vibe... Jen
johnpweber 0
I still have not had a chance to sit donw an really listen to Year Zero, but it's kind of a mix of With Teeth and Ghosts. I really liked it, plus it's free! Just go to nin.com for details.

I toggle between Morricone and NIN when I'm writing depending on the rhythm of the scene, Oh and add in a little John Carpenter to the mix. Really enjoyed Year Zero and am just getting into Ghosts am going to be spoilt with another album. regards Andrew

kwiat_skye 0
Since some threads on this board are a bit countrified at the moment, I thought I'd share my favorite Josh Turner song. Good music. Good lyrics. Good video. And his voice has elements that remind me of Johnny Cash. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2sApH8VtWFI It gives me goosebumps. -skye
Guest FADoss
Nice choice, I think this VH-1 work is some of their best. And Mr. Jones is one of my favorites. Live Across A Wire...2 CD set that has both VH1 and an MTV special on it is fantastic. Also, their version of "Friend of the Devil" on the Films About Ghosts Album is equally cool. CC is one of my favorite bands ever. New album is also quite good and a bit harder than any of their previous stuff. Fred
