And we want YOU to join in the fun. Noeland inspired me to start up a contest when he offered up his take on the characters (specifically The Convict) over in our Show Your Stuff thread. Check his Bad Planet illustrations here ------> The Phaedon Warrior and some other stuff . . . So we want to see how good you are. Draw us up some Bad Planet goodness. Tom and I will select the winners at the end of October and the work will be published in our Bad Planet collections. We have only two simple rules - 1. Your illustrations must be Bad Planet characters or creatures. 2. We must have all finished art in by October 31. Post your Bad Planet art here in this thread. If you do not know how to post graphics then send me a decent resolution jpeg of the art at tim@timbradstreet.com and I'll post it for you. The winners will need to provide us with high resolution scans (at least 300dpi). Best if you can access an ftp but I can also handle full size jpegs through my email. We'll give all the uploading details when the winners are selected. So what are you waiting for? Yer burning moonlight already! Thomas Jane 0 Posted September 16, 2008 Report Share Posted September 16, 2008 Tim and I cooked this up while going over the last issue, issue 6 of the book, making final tweaks. it should be going out to the printer in the next week or so. very exciting to get the first arc of the Bad Planet legacy off our shoulders and into the known universe! and we really look forward to seeing what you fan-addicts come up with on your own! will it be Veronica and her beautiful torn dress and ample gifts? will it be The Phaedon Warrior slicing his way through some 12 legged, four mouthed Alien DeathSpiders? or little Anan eating a box of Oreos and playing Galaga? only you know! what terror will you unleash upon an unsuspecting world? heh? hoo! ha. er, anybody there? anybody?
