johnpweber 0
Good for the show. I really does deserve attention and accolades. As much as I dug True Blood, the episodes seemed to drag on for me, week after week until Hung started up. Half way into the season, I could care less about True Blood, the only reason I watched it was so I wouldn't miss Hung. By the way, I know the pre-order has been up for a while, but when is this coming out?
Nighthawk 0
Congrats on the nomination Mr. Jane! And it's also great to see Jane Adams getting a nod in the supporting actress slot.

kwiat_skye 0
Foreign reviews seem to be very positive. I'm getting Golden Globe vibes. I'm so happy I was right! Good vibes. Congrats!
mediumfan 0
If anyone missed any of the first season's episodes or just wants to watch the season again, HBO is airing a marathon of the first season on New Year's Eve starting at midnight. Great way to start the New Year and to celebrate Thomas' Golden Globe nomination. I'm there!
elisagazzola 0
Hello Tom, .... I can't wait to see you again on the next Hung series. Greetings from Milano, Italy p.s. let me know if you will be guest on some Italian show, I don't want to miss that! Elisa
sidewaysgaze 0
Blogger talks about relevancy of Hung: "What is great about Hung is not only the taboo subject matter or Thomas Jane’s six pack abs, but the way the show resonates with our current economic situation, something that all viewers can relate to right now." http://theflickcast.com/2009/12/18/the-fli...est-tv-of-2009/ Jen
kdedu 0
On a barely related note, my fair state of Nevada has FINALLY changed its legal code to allow male prostitution in the appropriate counties. Perhaps Ray should line up an audition at the Shady Lady in Beatty, NV for Season 2?
sidewaysgaze 0
Hung is on some Year End "Best Of" lists online: and article about Top 10 Scripted TV Shows of 2009; Hung is at #9: "There’s lots of endowment fun to be had in this semi-dark comedy starring Thomas Jane as a well-appointed, divorced high school basketball coach who sells his principal asset..." http://www.locatetv.com/blog/actors-and-th...series-of-2009/ and Article on Year's Top 13 Comedies; Hung at #8: "8. "Hung," HBO. This series proved it was so much more than an anatomical joke. It made one man's personal crisis mirror the collapse of the nation's economy (not to mention his marriage) while adding a twist to the up-from-your-bootstraps American ingenuity. Excellent performances from Thomas Jane and Jane Adams." http://www.seattlepi.com/tv/413331_DDGQ1B3...html?source=rss Jen

mediumfan 0
but his top half looks pretty darn good, too. I'll second that! No wonder his wife always calls him a foxy man! Love seeing Thomas' name, and the show, showing up on all these lists. Totally deserving, imo. Nice to see that some people get the show. Love it!

johnpweber 0
Still no sign of the UK DVD release dates Don't feel too bad Murphy. The DVD has been on amazon.com since the 4th episode, but no release date on it. I'm sure as soon as the US version is out, a UK one will follow.

Mike V 0
I found the only bit of trivia on the IMDb page to be pretty funny. Thomas Jane previously appeared in Boogie Nights (1997), which was also about a man making a living with a large penis.

sidewaysgaze 0
Starting here tonight in New Zealand in approx 15 minutes. Cool; Hung has gone global! Here's an article about the TV shows on these days where the theme is the "little guy" versus "the system". Hung is mentioned as one of those shows: "...Dmitry Lipkin. "There's a sense of defiance. It seems there are new laws created, meant to keep middle-class guys like him away from the American Dream."" http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/news/...0,1830539\ .story Jen
