well i had a blast. i'm damn tired, but it was worth it.

who was at the Mutant screening? well what did ya think? who stopped by the booth? who got into a fight? any good stories or pics, share them here. i'll share some pics of the booth as soon as i get them. TJ

I was there and Mutant Chronicles was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!! I am sorry that I had to witness the Comic Con security team try to deny you access to your own panel. WTF! How could they not recognize THE PUNISHER? I betcha they felt stupid after I asked you if I could get a picture with you not even a foot away from the conversation(thanks again by the way). . I thought it was cool that you came out before the panel even started and signed autographs and took pictures. You posing with that guy dressed as the Joker was priceless!

Mr.Jane Vs. The Joker..........LOL (that pose was sooooooo sweet!)

Anywayz...............How goes the distributor search for MUTANT CHRONICLES? I hope to see it again on the big screen soon. What else are you working on thati should look out for? Please keep me informed.

Neenjah -

What AWESOME pics.

Thanks so much for sharing them with us here, and at pretty high fucking res too!

Slow page load but worth it.

There is no denying that this was my favorite comicon in years.

Thanks for the picks of Feldstein, Schultz, and Stout!!!

Maybe we can get Tom to post a picture of the original art he purchased from Kim Deitch.

Remember, the sexy bald guy is Todd Farmer!

Mike (Hess) - Thanks so much for the words. We couldn't have done it without you and I'm so glad you got to join in the after-show festivities, especially the dinner with Ed Pressman and the cast of Mutant Chronicles. Though I'm sure dinner at the Red Pearl seated next to a dazzling Chinese beauty queen has to run a close second!

Damian, welcome to the boards! And thanks for sharing your thoughts on the screening.

Don't be a stranger.

Jen, thanks so much for those links to the articles and video about the event.

Neenjah, many thanks for all the fantastic pics! Loved them all! Almost made me feel like I was there too, and made me sad that I wasn't there :( .

Tim and Tom, it sounds like it was a helluva lotta fun and I'm sorry I missed it. Maybe next year.

Tom, how can I get one of those RAW shirts? Those are just TOO KEWL! I gotta have one.

Mediumfan

I'd love to buy a RAW t-shirt too. Is there any way to buy them online?

Those are really great photos, Neenjah. Thank you so much!

Hey Mediumfan! :D

Yeah, I've been having a look 'round the Internet and pulled up some stuff about this Comic Con, including this blog on LiveJournal.com that has a pic of Tom and The Joker having some words...LOL

That pic and one each of Ron Perlman and Devon Aoki are near the end of this blog that also talks a bit about the Mutant Chronicles screening.

Here's the link:

Oh, and Tom, Tim, and/or whoever is making those RAW Entertainment T-shirts, put me down for one of those too! ;)

Ok, it's bad enough I missed the Mutant Chronicles screening (we went to dinner with our friends/both mates Kim and Scott Clark and didn't leave the restaurant until after 10pm or so), but I missed seeing Devon Aoki..?! Miho?!! Dang. I'm a fan of Tom and Ron, but ever since I saw her in Sin City I've really wished I could get a Bushi Tales movie going so we could have her in it! (Tom- you can be in our Rangers movie. ;) )

Glad you all enjoyed the pics. I had a great time visiting the RAW booth, and Tom and Tim couldn't have been nicer. Really enjoyed talking to Todd- funny guy. He seems like a great guy to have at a booth with you at con. Had no idea that he wrote JasonX (or that he has his own severed head)- and like a dumb ass I didn't get him to sign my Alien Pig Farm 3000 comic! Ok, next time for sure!

Oh, the first person I ran into in San Diego was Al Feldstein at the airport! I got to shake his hand and tell him thanks for the sketch I got form him at Ohio State. He was very gracious and wished me well at con.

oh oh !!! this pic is very cool !!! :)B)

and I like this comment :

"and as far as I can tell, Thomas Jane is an incredibly, incredibly nice man. He came out a few minutes before the movie to let people take pictures with him, and we got what can really only be interpreted as a Joker/Punisher smackdown scene." ^_^

and Devon Aoki is so pretty !

Thanks- 'cause the people that do know me...well, we won't get into that. ;)

Just glad I had some shots that turned out. The lighting in big event centers like that really can really mess with the autofocus.

Again- thanks to the RAW booth for being so cool at the con.

Two things I meant to pick up at the show and didn't- a RAW t-shirt and Tim's new book Maximum Black.

Maximum Black isn't his new one, that one has been out for a long while.

ARCHTYPE is his new one.

;)

Will have to pick up ARCHTYPE for sure after seeing MB.

Revelations 9: 1-11 (exactly what I thought it would be):

"1 And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.2 And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. 3 And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power as the scorpions of the earth have power. 4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads. 5 And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when it striketh a man. 6 And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them. 7 And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men. 8 And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions. 9 And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle. 10 And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tales: and their power was to hurt men five months. 11 And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon".

Now I see why you told her to look it up. :)

Thanks J, I missed the interviews and that was a GREAT interview with Tom. Totally agree on the modelling as well. I was and AM a HUGE "Clash of the Titans" junkie!!!

Jazz and comics! THAT is fabulous. Eastwood said Jazz and Westerns. Looks like we have three. :)

Jumping around SO bad on my computer right now. I want to watch Farmer's interview too but it would drive me INSANE!
