norse_sage 0
I cannot wait for that movie. I'm not entirely sold on the director tho, hopefully he will pull it off.
Mike V 0
Some proposed theme songs for the movie from British comedians Adam Buxton and Joe Cornish. I think they're pretty great, I like the Joe Cornish one the best. Joe Cornish
johnpweber 0
Has anyone heard the new Bond song? It's Alicia Keys and Jack White. Here's a link. http://www.joblo.com/full-bond-theme-online I like the song, but not sure how I feel about it being in the new Bond film. I never would have thought of pairing those two, but it works. Most of the song feels like it will fit, but there are a couple of spots where I'm not sure if it fits. Either way, it's a good song.

I'm not in love with it, seems kinetically loud, abrasive, and a little obnoxious. Jack and Alicia do sound good together, vocally, just wish it was a little more accessible. And I mean all of that pursuant to the context of a Bond film. As a stand alone track it's not so bad as I describe. The final poster: http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=49117 In a word . . . Anticlimactic. I'm a little disappointed with this as well. Was hoping for something beyond a glorified teaser. It certainly doesn't shout "classic". Am I really so hard to please? Naw! And I'm sure I'll be flipped upside down by the movie so I ain't cryin'. - TB

kwiat_skye 0
Got the chance to see this on the big screen yeasterday. Seemed like more of an action movie than a Bond movie, but, whatever. I still liked the opening theme music. My 21 year old son didn't. There's no accounting for taste. I was a bit peeved that the scene in the official movie poster never existed in the movie. They took a pic of the characters from one part of the movie and placed them over the background from another part of the movie. I don't know. I guess I was looking for that scene, and then it didn't really exist. There was a general consensus that cutting back and forth during the action scenes between Bond and a horse race or an opera or whatever, was not appreciated. Not sure how I feel about that. It seemed to just pad the movie. Anyway, no one has posted anything here since the film was released, so I was wondering what y'all thought about it.
johnpweber 0
I got to see this over the weekend as well. I really liked it. I've seen most of the Bond flicks over the years, but I'm really digging the new direction they are taking the films in. In the past, everything was too tounge and cheek, and that was okay, it's part of the formula, but after seeing Casino Royal, I was compleatly blown away. As for the new movie, it's more action, but still gritty like the last. I prefer CR over the new one from a writing stand point, but the action side of me liked this one better. I felt after the film that there were a few loose ends, but if the next one is like Quantum, it'll take place were this one left off. That was a nice change of pace as well. Quantum litteraly picks up less than an hour after the first one ended. It was also nice to see Jeffery Write again. I hope we'll be seeing more of him in the future. Just wondering what everyone else thought, but I had a nagging feeling that M's secretary, or what ever the guy is, is a mole. That and I have a pretty strong feeling that Mathis will be back. His forgiving Bond and his death were a little too convienent.
kwiat_skye 0
As soon as he asked Mathis to go with him, I knew what was going to happen. I guess I've seen that scenerio too many times before. I wanted to scream at the screen, "Giancarlo, don't go! Don't go!" (Hey, I finally figured out how to do that spoiler thing. It only took me over a year. )
Tim Bradstreet 0
Haven't seen this yet. Hoping to see it tonight maybe. Anyone else seen it? Please share your opinion and please be careful of spoilers. Thanks - Tim
Tiara 0
Daniel Craig is ready to quantify Quantum of Solace. 007's 22nd big-screen adventure proved to be a box office bonanza, earning over $500 million worldwide so far. And while the critical reception to the film was not unkind, the consensus was that it wasn't quite as licensed to thrill as its franchise-redefining predecessor Casino Royale. As Craig prepares to launch his next big film Defiance, director Edward Zwick's serious-minded but still action-packed exploration of a group of Polish Jews who fought back against the Nazis during the Holocaust, ComingSoon.net talked to the blonde Bond about the reception to "Quantum" and his plans to get shaken and/or stirred for the next installment.
