Tim Bradstreet 0
Mel Gibson and Shane Black (Lethal Weapon, Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang) look to be teaming up again for the thriller, Cold Warrior. Gibson is set to portray an agent from the days of the Cold War who comes out of the shadows to deal with a new threat in the here and now. The film will be the first behind the lens for Shane Black since he helmed the awesome Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang in 2005. johnpweber 0
Too bad about Max. I knew it was coming, but I just keep on hoping. Still, Mel and Shane Black working on the same film is always good too Been a while since we've heard from either of them. I was a bit dissapointed that Shane was not the writer, but I don't see him doing anything sub-par. I hear Edge of Darkness is pretty damn good, I hope this means we'll be seeing more of Mel. Tim Bradstreet 0
Yeah, I'm hitting Edge Of Darkness Sunday night. I'm a huge fan of the original but this looks stylish, and I love the story. Too bad Bob Peck's not around, would have been cool to see him as another character. I just think it's cool that the director who helmed the original 20 some odd years ago (Martin Campbell) is back directing a remake. I hope he can bring that game he displayed in Casino Royale to this new adaptation. Check out the original if you can find it, it's excellent. Anyone get new news of Cold Warrior be sure to keep us informed, thanks! - TB
SonOfTheDark 0
Well, more Gibson and Black is always a good thing as far as I'm concerned. I hope Shane gives us another Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang (in terms of quality, not necessarily tone)!

I have no issues with somebody new as Max. Yeah, Gibson is Max, and who ever they choose has got to deal with a dedicated fan base and a very high bar that has been set. But man, who woulda thunk we would have gotten such an awesome Star Trek, which faced all the same issues?
