Thirst (Bakjwi) is a Korean vampire flick, written and directed by Chan-wook Park ("Oldboy", "Lady Vengeance"). I saw a review of this on YouTube and it looks very interesting. Quite dark, gritty, violent and "real". I appreciate everything that's different from the emo Twilight stuff and will check this out for sure!

I hope that this along with Daybreakers will start a return to more darker and more serious vampire stories again. I want more intelligent and dangerous predators and no whiny, immortal teenagers who try to seduce young girls...

It looks awesome, Park Chan-wook hasn't disappointed me yet with his films, well I'm a Cyborg, But That's OK is kinda of a misfire but still very original and interesting.

I was hoping to check it out this week or next, but the theater that was going to show took it off it's coming soon list for some reason, so hopefully it won't be a long wait.
