  2. Dears, this is old news but I can’t find it around here. Please excuse if this is posted twice. * EXCLUSIVE: Renegade Entertainment, the production company co-founded by Courtney Lauren Penn and Thomas Jane, has optioned Chuck Hustmyre’s feature screenplay Relentlessand will develop and produce the project as a starring vehicle for Jane. Pic is an action thriller following a former U.S. Army Green Beret (Jane) who, after smugglers steal his boat and leave him for dead, gets caught between warring crime gangs as he fights to save the life of a young girl. Hustmyre spent 22 years in law enforcement and retired as a special agent with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF). During his career he specialized in violent crime, narcotics, and fugitive investigations. He previously wrote the Momentum Pictures action film Disturbing the Peace, starring Guy Pearce, and the Lionsgate films House of the Rising Sun starring Dave Bautista and End of a Gun starring Steven Seagal.* https://deadline.com/2021/04/thomas-jane-star-produce-action-thriller-relentless-1234734767/

  4. *Redbox Entertainment, the original content division of kiosk vendor Redbox, on Sept. 16 announced it will release western actioner The Last Son digitally on Dec. 10. In a deal with the movie’s producer Decal, Redbox will have on-demand access on the same day as the film’s theatrical debut. The Last Son stars Sam Worthington, Colson Baker (a.k.a. musician Machine Gun Kelly), Thomas Jane and Heather Graham.* So warriors… Dec. 10th it is !
  5. For what it’s worth : please keep in mind that I do have a strong French accent… so my guess is, it’ll sound more like « scownz » than anything else !
  6. Excellent! Didn’t know that! I just noticed I belong to the “loan” fraction
  7. Interesting! I do not know what you mean but would be happy to “hear” about it, if it’s possible to explain in writing.
  8. Hey Gail, I had time to think about that question my conclusion is that it all comes down to Mark Knopfler and his guitar! In 91, Calling Elvis was aired for the first time and I was in awe. I was 13 years old and it corresponded to my first English lessons at school. Translating all the lyrics and reading his biography was my motivation. I needed to learn fast. Also, my cousin (8 years older than me) was spending 6 months as an Erasmus in London and I got to visit him. That weekend of freedom and pub visits opened a door I never wanted to close again. So within the next 4 years I’ve spent weeks of summer holidays in Cambridge, Bristol, Chesterfield (my hostess family was a teen mom with a now 5 years old child and she and her friends spent several evenings per week smoking pot… I was listening and learning but didn’t smoke. It was … interesting) and then Bristol again. All in all as I grew to get to know UK and the English people I noticed that what I love is this feeling of being soooo far away despite our countries being neighbours. The mixture of tradition and complete sartorial innovation. And I am an introvert that suffers from heat. So despite my other very soft spot for Italy and Italian culture, my choice is made. Plus you have Triumph bikes. And scones
  9. This one will be rated R for violence.
  10. How right you are! “Old chap” is also part of my Blake and Mortimer culture
  11. I’m trying my best ! UK rocks Do you know the comic books “The Adventures of Blake and Mortimer”… it’s a large part of my culture
  12. I’ve always loved “mirror pics”. Since we’re on a forum full of TJ nerds: let’s watch again the motel scene at the beginning of *Dark Country*.

  14. Cool. It worked. I’m back.
  15. Cannot not share this amazing picture of Tom on set with co star and director
  16. By Jove, Gail, how happy I am to find you here. Yes it’s way too quiet. I don’t like the forum like this. Corona is a bitch, forcing us to not only socially distance but also electronically distance ! I had to reinstall my phone in January and since then I was unable to post pictures anymore Now I have a completely new phone since yesterday so I’ll give it a try.
