  1. Just curious if there are any Six Million Dollar Man fans here and if anyone has any interest in the new comic series by James Kuhoric based on the series. This series is different from other runs in that it picks up where the show ended. Based on early artwork and reports, it looks to be truer to the show than previous runs. The cover artwork by Alex Ross is amazing! Steve Austin never looked better. http://dynamite.com/htmlfiles/viewProduct.html?PRO=C72513021270201011#previewImages There is also a fantastic interview with James Kuhoric at Cyborgs: A Bionic Podcast about the newest incarnation of the Six MIllion Dollar Man. http://abionicpodcast.wix.com/cyborgs#!
  2. HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JEN!!! And a very Merry Christmas!!!!
  3. I not only had the Bionic Woman doll, but I had the Beauty Salon that turned into a laboratory. My brother had the Steve Austin doll and we played the heck out of those things. As for the video concept, very well done. Would love to see it redone by someone who appreciates and respects the material who would do it right.
  4. First of all, I've got to say "KUDOS" to Thomas and Tim and Phil and everyone associated with this short. It is nothing short of amazing, and to know that everyone did it for nothing but the love of it makes it that much more special. It's absolutely fantastic to see Thomas step back into the role of Frank Castle again. As far as I'm concerned, no one else will ever come close to Thomas' portrayal of that character. He OWNS it. End of discussion. Loved everyone who appeared in this, especially Thomas and Perlman, but especially loved the kid, the girl and the gangleader. They were all spot on in their portrayals as well. There aren't enough words to describe it. Absolutely loved seeing what Castle could do with a bottle of Jack. From the moment he dropped the bag and flipped the bottle in the air, it was on!!!! HAHA!! Don't know which was better, the way he tossed the bottle in the air, or the way he flung it like a missile at the last thug and beaned him with it!! The sfx were great. All of the blood spurting reminded me of Quentin Tarantino and the Kill Bill movies. And the broken bones sticking out were great! The dialogue was sparse, as one would expect the Punisher to be, but it was also razor-sharp, much like Tarantino's. The line about the difference between justice and punishment is off the charts wicked. In my mind, I could almost swear that came from Castle's speech at the end of Jane's 2004 Punisher. It was pure Frank Castle. Made the whole film. Great work, guys and please keep these coming. It would be awesome to see this as a series of short web-only films if Marvel doesn't wake up and do the right thing. This is the kind of Punisher sequel they need to make and throw out that WarZone crap. This is The Punisher done right. Kudos again, guys!!
  5. Sounds like a great idea. Wish I had the know-how to jump in and help, but my web skills are strictly point-and-shoot. It would be really cool to help out the RAW family in some way, and I'm always willing to lend a hand any way I know how. As far as what we'd like to see, it's hard to ask for more already. This place is pretty rockin' already, but the idea of a loyalty program is kinda awesome. Just keep doing what you're doing, and as long as I get to come along for the ride, I'm cool. Can't wait to see what kind of new stuff you guys are working up for us.
  6. This would be awesome! It sounds like a role that is perfectly suited to Thomas. And anytime he and Darabont team up, it's bound to be amazing. Hope this works out!
  7. Great videos! Just catching up. Haven't posted in a while, but glad to see these vids of Thomas, except that crazy cross-dressing dancer one (eeks!). I'm glad that it was made clear that that was just a "fun" video and someone isn't trying to say that he really is a cross-dresser, lol!
  8. Yeah, it sucks that HBO cancelled Hung, which was one of its better performing shows, to bring on new shows and now they've had to cancel one of those (Luck) because they're killing too many horses. Damn shame. I'd much rather have watched a show about a man that was hung like a horse than a show about actual horses.
  9. Here's a question for you, Tim- how do you go about starting a story and/or drawing it? Do you write it out first and develop the characters/backstory, etc.? Or do you just start drawing? Do you have an idea and just start drawing it? I have a kind of crazy idea for a comic and am wondering how to begin to work it out as I've never tried it before.
  10. Happy birthday, Thomas!! Hope it's a great one!
  11. Lol! (No pun intended!) I thought the same thing when I saw the trailer, Jen. I was surprised to see that there was only a brief glimpse of Thomas in it, and I didn't see his name in the credits at all. What's up with that? Hope they didn't cut his part down.
  12. Hey, Jen, here's some pics of Thomas at the David Lynch event back in December. Don't know if you've seen them or not. http://www.exposay.com/3rd-annual-change-begins-within-benefit-celebration-presented-by-the-david-lynch-foundation---arrivals/v/52833/7/
  13. SO terribly sorry to hear this news. My heart goes out to Thomas and to all of his family and to all of the people who knew her. She sounds like a wonderful person. My deepest condolences. Prayers are with you all.
  14. Great interview with Thomas from thefix.com. Very eye-opening. http://www.thefix.com/addiction/drugs/Thomas%20Jane6663?page=1
  15. Here's another interesting interview with Rob Lowe and Jeremy Piven about the film. It's obvious listening to them talk that this was a labor of love for all involved. http://www.hollywood...th_You/11175121

Thanks, Thomas! I'm really trying! It's killing me that I haven't been able to catch it this season. Everything I've seen looks amazing!

Lol! Nice to have you back, Thomas! And as hilarious as ever! Sadly I have not seen the show this season, but with all the considerable skills and talents being brought to bear, I have no doubt that it is better than ever, and I am really trying to get caught up. Good luck on the pickup!!
  18. Wow! All these new drawings are amazing (as always), Tim. I'm especially loving the Trek drawings. Not only are the drawings jaw-droppingly good, but they give the classic characters a more modern edge that makes them pop. Love it! Your Jennifer Blood work is awesome too!
  19. Lol! Now THAT would have made Mad Men a must-see for me. As it is, as hunky as Jon Hamm is, I've never watched a single episode. But if TJ had been cast in the role, I wouldn't have missed one. Hamm, on the other hand, is kinda 'meh' as an actor to me. I bet TJ would have rocked that role as well as he has "Ray Drecker".
  20. It's funny that of all the parts that they asked TJ about for this piece, one of them was "Clay Bicks" from Medium when he wasn't even credited on the show for that. Go figure!
  21. I think it's funny how in that entire interview, that was the part that they picked up on and chose to copy. They twisted it and made it sound like he was working as a gigolo for hire, when what he said was that when he was hungry enough, he wasn't averse to doing something like that for food. Btw, the source article is posted above. It was in the LA Times Sunday Conversation yesterday. It's a great interview, and there's a lot more to it than just what that site chose to repeat.
  22. Here's another link to the new poster (I think it's the newest one) and a trailer for the movie. I'm not sure if this is a new trailer or not, but it looks more intense than others I've seen. http://www.hollywood.com/news/Red_Band_I_M...riosity/7845561
  23. Thomas is featured in The Sunday Conversation in the LA Times today talking about the new season of Hung. Great read.
