    HUNG

Sorry if I missed anything: when is Hung season 3 shown on HBO??
  3. Yeah, I have the whole lot of Nick Cave's discography (from the Boys Next Door/Birthday Party to Grinderman) on my mp3 player and I listen to it every day. I LOVE all that stuff! The music, the videos, the live performances (the old Birthday Party stuff is so mad, it's brilliant). I think he's a genius. I read, that the second Grinderman album is finished and will be release sometime this year. Awww, I could rant all day about him.
  4. I think she looked like a beautiful mermaid in that dress.
  5. Anything by Nick Cave! I adore that man. Always have, always will! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3kQIO7k4cDQ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9HXk_2pFNXY (WARNING! Explicit lyrics! ) And from the category: you gotta see it to believe it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VxCM9dellRs
  6. World Music! Last night, while making a nice, very hot lamb and pumpkin curry, we've been listening to a whole lot of World Music from the brilliant Rough Guides. From India to Iran, from Africa to Russia and many more - it's unbelievable and fascinating how much great music this world has to offer. And that reminded me how much I always loved Mory Kante's smash hit from 1987: Yeke Yeke http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kAmlJdnoLtQ
  7. I really think, the film was absolutely perfect and I mean that. I couldn't see anything wrong with it, I loved it from the very beginning to the very end. Because or even though I am a big Star Trek fan. It is definitely my film of 2009.
  8. Also, since I love that song so much, I came across that version today: I always loved Jill Hennessy in Crossing Jordan, but now I think she's a goddess!
  9. Since it is the season.... My favourite Christmas POP songs of all times are: Greg Lake - I believe in Father Christmas http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FqOfXumI18A Chris Rea - Driving Home For Christmas Shane MacGowan + Kirsty MacColl - Fairytale of New York Chris de Burgh (!) - A Spaceman came travelling http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4087bCXne7s Happy Christmas, everyone!
  10. It IS surprising and I feel ashamed that it happened. Germany was always quite liberal and the new Rammstein album is certainly not more offensive or explicit than any of their previous albums. So why now?? It bugs me when it seems that people in charge are dealing with things they know NOTHING about. The other stupid thing is, that they waited for it to be number one in the charts, bevor that step was taken. So, the rest of the world can enjoy the album as intented, but we can't. Well, I can, because I got the "real" album the day it came out anyway.
  11. Old, but still great: To The Hilt by Die Krupps. LOVE the video! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_Ec81NuvPA
  12. Well, since one of the first actions of Germany's new government was to index the new Rammstein album for "too explicit sexual" lyrics and album art work, all I can ask is: what times are we living in?? Unbelievable. I just can't believe what a sad decision this it. Very sad.
  13. Blu-Ray and DVD are already out in Germany too. This film really makes me want to get all Star Trek series on DVD (the original one, TNG, Deep Space Nine, Voyager). If only I had the money...
