  1. Ive been wondering where I can find some cool location spots in LA where real artist can get together. I just thought of trying something new, and meet new people that way that share the same interests as mine. Does anyone know of a spot?
  2. Hey guys, Im having a little trouble in using the right colors and combination to color a desert sand dune. I tried using Burnt Sienna with yellow Ochre and a little bit of Ivory Black to give it tone but I think I messed up the picture already. lol. What can I do to fix it? Here is the picture that Im using to give it this look...
  3. I just saw The Mist, I loved it. It had a messed up sad ending and great characters also.
  4. The geekies thing Ive done lately is, bring out my old toy boxes filled with Star Wars Toys and play with them with my old childhood friend. It was embarassing though.
  5. Im watching Day of the Dead right now, my favorite movie from them all even though I find Dawn of the Dead a better movie. Its funny that I find you guys talking about the Romero series and Tom Savini.

  8. Teh comic strip ends well though. Frank takes off leaving Eminem alone in a blizzary snow storm (in the north pole I think thats where they were)
  9. ....Hmmm wow THANK YOU TIM ... I should have thought about smudging. It sounds like Im gonna do sum heavy activity for one simple Panel, but I got patience. Im going to experiment. Thank you again Tim. BTW one more thing Tim, Are you going to be in Comic Con in San Diego this year? EDIT: Heres an example in what I going for. Lookit the blurred prison bars infront of Ledger.
  10. I could use a little help from any great artist, Tim's help would be swell too. Im working on a 98 pages long Comic book and now Im in page 72. Here are some pictures of my work in progress.... My question is on link number 3, Panel 2. (the close up of the girl). I want to draw blurry prison bars infront of the woman. I dont know if thats possible to make if you do it with your hands. I can do it on Photoshop no problem but this comic book is being drawn in a big blank journal and it cant be edited through photoshop. How can I draw blurry prison bars in that panel? What kind of equipment would I need to do that? ありがとう

  12. I didnt know that film's from Kathlyn Bigelow, I should see it.
  13. well Batman, to be honest, I never worked with Acrylic and oils haha, and I just learned how paint with watercolor a month ago. It was my neighbor that inspired me in working with watercolor. I had no clue how to paint until one day him and I painted together and by watching him I was able to mimic the way he moved the brush. I actually got hooked on working with watercolor after that, you can make your drawing look realistic like Alex Ross work. BTW heres another Terminator related drawing I did, this one took me just 3 hours... Arnold is the easiest man to draw. simply drawing him took me a few minutes, but spend a complete 3 hours giving it more life in shading and shadowing Arnie... I really want to get good as this girl so thats why Im trying to spend so much more time to come up with something like that... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bz7ZJEgSKpg . I still dont know what tools she used to darken that. Do you guys know? Oh wow Fred ^^^ another thanks for teaching me how to post pictures.... Heres the sketch version of the other drawing...
