  1. Wanted to share a custom commission I had done by Joe Romero (aka Average Joe Art) Check out his website http://averagejoeart.storenvy.com/ for other art (including this print) and let me know what you guys think!
  2. Such a shame. Running Scared was my fave film of his. R.I.P.
  3. This is just a quick question for TJ and TB! I remember a while back (on this site) TJ had mentioned something about a "pipe dream" for a Punisher sequel involving Frank Castle and a female FBI agent whose daughter is kidnapped and Frank's help is enlisted through his release from prison? Correct me if I'm wrong on that. On to the question...any chances of THAT idea being made into a short film?
  4. Seriously, that short film was AWESOME! I've been ranting and raving to all my Punisher fan buddies about it and spreading the word on Facebook and Twitter. I HOPE this causes the tide to turn in favor of another Jane-starring Punisher film!
  5. Wow...AMC can kiss my ass. I won't give this watered down version of a fantastic show any of my time. I respect Mr. Darabont for sticking to his guns, and Mr. Bradstreet for saying everything that I wanted to say in his earlier posts.
  6. I completely agree with you. My girlfriend and I were livid that some of our favorite movies got the cold shoulder, including The Town. The Fighter was such a tremendous movie, it had and has SO MANY good things going for it. It was hands down one of the best movies I've seen in a while.
  7. The pilot was amazing. I was literally glued to the TV the entire time. I actually hooked up my TV to my surround sound (Normally only listen to surround on movies) in anticipation. I can't wait for the next episode. Mr. Darabont, you've done it again!!!
  8. Yeah, I wouldn't waste my time with it. It's bad, and I usually give games and movies alike atleast a fighting chance, but this one I played for 15 minutes, and it got old quick. It's funny, everything I've read about the game has something to the effect of "No, this isn't in anyway tied to Punisher: War Zone." Have a look for yourself. Screenshots Hmm, look familiar? I still say the first Punisher game is hands down the BEST comic book based video game that I've ever played. I loved it. I gotta say I've played it lik 8 times over, and I still find myself playing it every now and then.
  9. Don't know if anyone's posted this yet, but here's the trailer for "Edge of Darkness" directed by Martin Campbell. Looks like it's going to be a good one! View Trailer Here!
  10. Just joined the Facebook page, good stuff so far!
  11. Loved the movie, as did the wife! Looking to replace the lame cover with the customs done by TB and friends. Just wondered, what paper would you fine folks recommend to print on? I hate using plain paper, just looks weird afterward.
  12. Complete waste of time. Disgustingly predictable.
  13. Yeah, I picked it up at Walmart, as well. Unfortunately, not a single store here in town as the Bluray version of the movie, so I settled for the 2 Disc Collector's Edition, and it's WELL worth the money. Sometimes I feel cheated when I buy "special editions" and they don't have hardly any extras, but Mutant Chronicles is packed with stuff, I HIGHLY recommend it.
  14. To quote my grandpa as he watched the trailer, "Is Christopher Walken in this one, too?"
  15. It would be a crime if TJ didn't get to play Rick Grimes. That's exactly who I pictured as the character as I read the first trader paperback. I have high hopes for this one, Mr. Darabont is one of my all time favorite directors, and I can't imagine this will disappoint. And yes, I do agree with statements made before, the series is very graphic and disturbing at times, but a fantastic read for anyone who's a fan of the genre. I actually just finished the 7th, and I've got the 8th and 9th ones in transit. I picked up the 10th at my local Hastings!
  16. Source: Variety August 12, 2009 AMC is close to finalizing one of the richest development deals ever with Frank Darabont to write and direct a series adaptation of the Image Comics graphic novel series "The Walking Dead," written by Robert Kirkman. Variety says that Gale Anne Hurd of Valhalla Motion Pictures and David Alpert of Circle of Confusion are also on board to executive produce. The story is set among a group of zombie survivors of an apocalypse who are led by a police officer, Rick Grimes, in search of a safe place to live. AMC Senior Vice President of Programming Joel Stillerman said the series will stay faithful to the tone of the original novels. "This is not about zombies popping out of closets. This is a story about survival, and the dynamics of what happens when a group is forced to survive under these circumstances. The world (in 'Walking Dead') is portrayed in a smart, sophisticated way." Hoooooooooooooly crap, best news I've read all day! Whoever put this together deserves a Snickers bar and a liter o' cola. So, TJ and Darabont collaboration, anyone?
  17. I actually got the We Were Soldiers/Payback Straight Up: The Director's Cut Two Pack at WM for 19.98. Good stuff!
  18. Can't wait for this one. He's probably one of my favorite actors overall. Speaking of PAYBACK, has anyone had a chance to see the director's cut? I enjoyed it a lot. I can'y say I like the theatrical or director's cut more, they're both good in my book.
  19. My wife read this, and said, and I quote "So did they shoot the people who greenlit PWZ and finally gve it back to Thomas Jane?" That was good stuff. Seriously, I wish this would happen, I'd be ecstatic.
  20. My wife and I both laughed a lot with "Fido". Good flick, I would recommend it! Zombieland looks awesome, I was amped when I first read about it, and the trailer really was great. Now when my wife and I play Resident Evil 4 or 5, whenever we get a crazy kill during game play, we say "What do you think, zombie kill of the week?"
  21. Saw this yesterday, it's not bad for a fan edit! Nathan Fillion is awesome, I think he would be great as Cap or Green Lantern.
  22. Yeah, I can agree with that. It didn't really pick up until towards the end of the movie. Terry Crews as Best Supporting Actor In A Non-Living Role!
  23. Wow, critics are really bashing TS all over the place. I thought it was good. I really think a lot of people were going in expecting a James Cameron film.
  24. Looks to be a really good movie, can't wait to check this one out.
  25. My most sincere condolences go out to you and your family, Tim. Losing my son last year was the hardest thing I've ever had to deal with in my entire life, and I knew him but 6 days. I can't imagine what you're feeling or going through, but I'll say a prayer for you and yours. God bless. R.I.P Stevhan Gobble
