Hi guys, thanks for the support. Yes GAUNTLET is one of those projects that can't be diluted by the Hollywood system. It's do or die time and I need your support. Thanking you in advance. warmest regards Andrew

David Eggby got back to Melbourne last week after finishing the shoot. I'm going to catch up with him this week. Looking forward to hearing how it all went. Andrew

Yeah I've been holding onto that little puppy of a secret for a few months now. Wanted to scream it from the roof tops but couldn't. Eggby is a legend.

The guys just finished this viral video today. This came straight to my inbox from director Jonathan English, so please spread the word via facebook and twitter. Andrew

If you marry the poster with the new trailer you can see the demograph they are trying to target for the US release http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FnbZeOpC7a0

New Trailer http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-visi...ler-hits-185419 I have to say apart from one or two shots where he looks like Hercules, the rest looks like it fucking rocks.

Django Unchained: Quentin Tarantino's Spaghetti Western
vectortv replied to Mike V's topic in Comics and Film
Nero is a funny guy. I was talking to him a couple of years back about being involved in HIRED GUNS. Donati asked him what he thought of the script - his response: - the script is good, but I prefer a script where only I am the hero. As to Tarantino and his tribute to Leone, not going to form an opinion there. Got my own things cooking... -

Congrat's man. Well deserved.

I've considered it - however you need a US bank account which eliminates the conversation.

Well it's after midnight here in NZ so I wanted to be the first to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. Best wishes to one and all Andrew

Man, what I would do to get on that writing team.

Like the idea of Taken, but run it into a tv series 24 meets Sopranos. Now that's something I could sink my teeth into.

Thanks to everyone for the well wishes. You make it all worthwhile.

Once again it's hard to make a good film out of a bad script. The argument was probably made that it was existing product so the script quality didn't matter, but when an audience gets to view it - of course it does. Brolin seemed to champion this - which was in my view a waste of resources. I don't see it as a threat to the 'Western' genre, but more to the 'Comic Book' genre. Then again even Ghost Rider can get ramped up for a sequel these days...

Just looks too much like Wild Wild West all over again. Not enough grit in the teeth and sand in the face.

You can - but only after you've done you homework. Have you?
