  1. Hey everyone - I just checked in and noticed we're on a different platform, if that's the word, for the Forum; something called IPS Community instead of InvisionZone. How did that come about? Any issues with the change over? How is everyone liking it? I'm wading into right now, so I don't have a definite opinion yet, except that it is a bit different... Jen
  2. ...and another one... "...the unleashed whirlwind of performances — especially by Thomas Jane and Rob Lowe — are truly inspired, or at least impeccably intense..." http://smellslikescreenspirit.com/2011/10/...ith-you-review/ Jen
  3. ...and another recent review: " I highly recommend this powerful film, but be prepared for a visual and aural onslaught." http://digitalhippos.com/film-review/thril...i-melt-with-you Jen
  4. Here's the link to Mark Pellington's Director's Statement (and Glenn Porter's Writer's Statement) specially for the On Demand film: "I was interested in exploring how middle aged men become far different creatures than they imagined they would be, and how they deal with it." http://ondemandweekly.com/blog/article/mar..._melt_with_you/ Jen
  5. Here's one of the latest critic reviews online, at least that I've seen: "The Upside: The four turn in decent performances (with Thomas Jane and Rob Lowe standing out the most)..." Ummm, then there's also a downside...LOL http://www.filmschoolrejects.com/film-fest...h-you-alori.php Jen
  6. JoBlo's 150th Podcast - features TOM!! And I Melt With You director Mark Pellington: Here's the link; Tom and Mark Pellington start talking at the 1 hour and 9 minute mark and it goes to past 1 hour 18 minutes... Tom gives an awesome in-a-nutshell view of I Melt With You and Mark talks great music. And I love the "I want my cab back." riff on Arrested Development! http://www.joblo.com/movie-news/joblo-podc...r-150th-podcast Jen
  7. ...and $10.99 for HD version, which sounds good to me! That's how I plan to spend a 'relaxing' Sunday afternoon... Jen

Link to interview with Jane Adams about her character Tanya this season: "We question why we live the way that we live. We can have more. It’s not just about sex. It’s about living well. Not accepting the status quo or the bad situation you’re in and doing whatever you need to do to give a good day. I think she [Tanya] is about giving a good day to people..." http://www.buzzfocus.com/2011/11/04/exclus...-hung-season-3/ Jen

  14. As for Molly, I personally really liked Tom's performance in this. He gets to be all sweet 'n' innocent-like and make puppy eyes at Elisabeth Shue's character. There's a lot of gooey silliness to be found in the movie, but how can you not like Tom and Elisabeth Shue trying to save the live, captive lobsters at a restaurant? In this video clip at YouTube, Tom ends up making puppy eyes at Aaron Eckhart after the 2-minute mark, but that's because he's talking about Molly...: Jen
  15. Let me put it this way for Eden: depending on your viewpoint, it's either a deadly dull (super-slow, talky, realistic in a drab way) period piece or an existentially, historically powerful look at Israel after WWII. If you check out the main review that's at IMDB right now, you'll get the gist. The performances themselves are fine and Tom's good in a role where his character 'develops' over time, and the viewer has to reassess who his character is by the end of the movie... It is a supporting role though, so Tom's not in it a whole lot. He gets to wear a nice hat in it though!
  16. Ummm, Tim what about this? "... on Sunday ... a career retrospective by Tim Bradstreet, hosted by Thomas Jane and a writer’s panel with Steve Niles & Jimmy Palmiotti..." http://www.firstcomicsnews.com/?p=34017 Say it's so! Jen

  18. Thanks for posting about that event! It sounds like it was an amazing reading. Love the part about how Tom got really into it and the other actors started to follow his lead. It's cool that the site also posted 2 pix from the reading. Jen
