Show Your Wares

For a guy who don't paint paint, that looks mighty freakin' awesome. Can't wait to see the finished work.

Since we can't post youtube on the board - here's a link to a video trailer for my new book.

I even conned Bradstreet and Niles to give me quotes for the book.

Lemme know what you think.

Here's the revised trailer for my book

Street date is July 7th. But it's finally available for PRE-ORDER! Stoked on that!

Why can't we post youtube links?

You mean embedded vid?

Awesome on the book by the way.

I'm going to add it to the Artists We Love section so it can get proper visibility here!

Thanks Tim, that's awesome of you!

I'll probably get my copies at the SDCC so I'll drop by and give ya one.

Thanks again for the quote!!!

If there's a way to post youtube I didn't see it.

Painting is finished. Stick a fork in me. This is all I can show of it though. I'll post the full piece when it's official. Still need to varnish it.

Jam on!

I can't wait to see this in it's entirety.

The technique looks as if it was exactly what the doctor ordered ;)

Thumbs way up , Bri!

After long and considered deliberation, and on the advice of the pack . . .

The show us your wares/stuff threads have been merged!

Hopefully we'll get everyone in the same house now.

Doesn't matter if you are a working professional like Mr. Brian Ewing, Esquire . . . above, or a just-off-the teet greenhorn from Glen Green.

If you create art and want to show it off, or want some informed opinions, please post it.

This isn't a competition, this should be considered a safe haven.

If you feel like you don't rate then get to work and step up to the plate when you think you're ready.

But you could maybe learn a lot if you post art regardless - We don't bite.

Apologies all -

Somehow when I did the big merge/move, the thread closed itself.

Had to have, I certainly never closed the fucker ;)

Thankfully Noeland gave me the heads up.

Again, sorry for any inconvenience!

Working on a project for a magazine and decided to add a crow/raven at the last minute. Birds are tough to draw. And I kept hearing the AD's voice saying "make it more METAL!"

Billboard for 1LOUDER on Melrose in Los Angeles featuring my artwork. I painted a mural inside their shop a couple months ago. So stoked to see this. At the bottom is Hensley, the shop dog, striking a pose.

Check out their shop. They let me destroy their wall and have a ton of my poster work and original art hanging up. Some of it is available for sale.

This is my first piece using Painter and first time redesigning a known character. I've redesigned Dr. Strange a bit meshing different cultural and mystical elements leaning more towards dark magic. Necromancy symbol smeared onto bare flesh, leather cape/jacket, long finger nails, spell being cast thumb in in more of a devil horns gesture, and Japanese kyahan leggings with thong sandals.

Pretty much working on an entire series of these for the summer to offer as prints during conventions.

Cheers
