The Dark Knight

Yeah, that was Buscemi's idea. Its also Mickey's 3rd film with Willem Dafoe. They had done Heaven's Gate and White Sands. They re-teamed for Once Upon a Time in Mexico. I think the film's good, but Mickey is just too fuckin weird in it. A bodybuilder/boxer wearin a tube top. Ha.

Here's more Gyllenhaal eye candy...

Damn, nice shot of her there TL. That dark lipstick works for her.

SO, when the heck are we going to get to see Two Face/Harvey Dent do you think?

My estimate is that he's be Harvey throughout the film and be turned near the end...setting him up to be TF in the next film...IF they do it right. You really don't need a partner for the Joker. :)

Nolan says that he'll be revealed right before the credits roll. Sounds good to me.

Perfect...just like revealing the card at the end of BB. Perfect setup for 3. :)

Yeah, I thought the same thing. Works well. I hear the revealing takes place in a bar. That ought to be interesting.

Just finished watching Batman Returns, probably the 80th time I've seen it. It never gets old. It truly is an extremely impressive sequel - yet I feel The Dark Knight won't challenge that. Dark Knight will most likely be as good, in its own realm. They will both stand tall as two great Batman sequels.

Who else is big on BATMAN RETURNS?

ME! I love that damn movie. Keaton, DeVito & Pfeiffer. Hell yes. Pfeiffer seduced me at a young age haha and I've been in love with her ever since. Keaton is the man in this film and every film for that matter. This film is overlooked too much.

Michael Keaton in full glory as The Dark Knight...

The dialogue in this movie is AMAZING! It'll crack you up or impress the shit outta you. DeVito has unforgettable lines, but Mike's are just priceless...

"Merry Christmas Alfred. Good will to all men...and women."

I think this film proves that DC CAN fuck up Marvel when necessary.

Next year Marvel will lose the battle against DC:

-Iron Man (May 2)

-The Incredible Hulk (June 13)

-The Punisher: Warzone (September 12)

I am POSITIVE that all three of the films combined WILL NOT take Dark Knight at the box office. The same thing happened back in '05, when Batman Begins made more money than Fantastic 4 and Elektra combined. Nolan's Batman is just TOO fucking impressive, too bad too see Superman crash and burn due to Bryan Singer's obsession with Reeve.

But once again, the man below will UPSTAGE the Dark Knight...

"Starting tonight, people WILL die! I'm a man of my word..."

Fred, X-Men Origins: Wolverine hits theatres Midnight, April 31st 2009.

This year (2008), Marvel's got 3 films - but they won't stand a chance against DC's Dark Knight.

Now, more Maggie...

Batman Begins made $205.34 Million from July through September of 2005.

I predict this film [Dark Knight], will make at least $225.

IRON MAN, I feel won't go any higher than $150, while The Incredible Hulk will die out at $130.

Hellboy II won't make more than $70.

Indy's movie will give Joker a run for his money, probably squaring off at $220-230.

My money's on Heath Ledger's cackle,

Let the betting begin!

Got to see this in front of Iron Man yesterday, and if anything gets you ready to see a super hero movie, it's this trailer on the big screen.

I think this and Iron Man will certainly be big earners this year.

I saw this trailer during Iron Man, and all I have to say is, I haven't dropped my jaws this much since I saw the Empire Strikes back on vhs as a kid.
