PS I know I already put this news in the "Hung Season 2" thread, but I figure this thread will get more attention. The other thread has a spoilers message which might deter some peeps from going there...

It would be so amazing if Tom took a picture w/ Ricky Gervais; I can't imagine how these guys' lives would ever cross, again.

Golden Globes are tonight!! :D

Here's what Zap2It has to say about Tom and his nom:

"Outstanding lead actor - comedy

Should win: Though we would love to see underdog Thomas Jane bring it home and give "Hung" a little more recognition, we can't turn our backs on Jim Parsons. "The Big Bang Theory" never ceases to make us laugh..."

Inside guide to the GG afterparties; Tom is expected to be at the HBO party:

"HBO

The Scene Nobody competes with HBO when it comes to winning at the Globes — sometimes it’s hard to count all the statuettes on the tables. This year’s bash, held as usual by the pool next to Circa 55 restaurant, will sport a Pucci-inspired design and rings of fire floating in the water.

The Buzz It’s not every day you see Jack Kevorkian — nominee Al Pacino played him in You Don’t Know Jack — and The Pacific’s Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg in the same room; all three are expected, plus Claire Danes, Steve Buscemi and Thomas Jane."

Tom was at the Golden Globe awards!! :D

I watched the whole show and maybe missed a few seconds here 'n' there, but I spotted Tom in the background about 57 minutes into the show during the Toy Story 3 acceptance speech, then during the Best Actor, Drama TV, of course, at about 1 hour and 46 minutes into it all, and then also near the end, during Paul Giamatti's acceptance speech, at about 2 hours and 26 minutes into the broadcast.

I watched the 2-hour E! Live from the Red Carpet show, but didn't see Tom during that. I still have to watch the 1-hour NBC coverage of the red carpet and and aftershow on E! Not sure if there's any footage of Tom in there...

Tom was looking cool and sharp from what I could see on the TV. It's so great he was there and was nominated for Hung! :)

I spotted Tom every moment he was on during the award show. I kept my eyes open. His expression was great when they cut to him during Paul Giamatti's speech.

Tom should've won; at least, he showed up.

Tom looked very handsome as always. Loved his ;) at the camera--very sexy.

Ah, yes, Tom looked great! :D

There are some insider sites online that watch every move of the celebs/performers, so here is a smattering of what is online in relation to Tom:

"Hung star (and Globe nominee) Thomas Jane, who loved Ricky and said of his own loss in his acting category: "Wearing shoes tonight didn't bring me any luck so maybe next year I won't wear shoes." Something tells me that's not the wardrobe element people are hoping he'll go without..."

http://www.eonline.com/uberblog/watch_with...sh_on_true.html

and

" 7:56 p.m. Hung's Thomas Jane arrives with a cigar in hand. We ask for his top picks in fashion. He names January Jones — “She's sexy,” he says — and Halle Berry. “Those are the two highlights for me."

7:57 p.m. Jane was also a big fan of host Ricky Gervais. “He was funny. He was hard on the Hollywood Foreign Press..."

and

More comments about host Rickey Gervais's performance:

"Celebrities, for the most part, seemed to love Gervais. “I thought he was brilliant," Chris Noth told CNN. "We could all afford to have a few ribbings like that." Thomas Jane thought it was "great to keep people on their toes," and Sofia Vergara admitted, "It was funny.""

and

"Thomas Jane adjusted his tux by the men's room, while Ryan Gosling and Bruce Willis hung in the back as Boardwalk Empire scored a win at the Globes."

Last night while I was watching ET, I saw a brief clip of Tom's take on Ricky Gervais' jokes. But here is something even better from Access Hollywood:
