Tom Out 'n' About

Recommended Posts

Supposedly Tom was at Golden Apple Comics in L.A. on Monday night after the Comic-Con.

Here's link to Golden Apple's site w/ flyer: http://www.goldenapplecomics.com/

and link to a blogger who shows what he wants to bring to the signing; wonder if he got there and got his comic signed:

Tom was at the Herve Leger show and ended up on the model runway You can read about it here:

"No, you did not just huff some hallucinogens: He CAME BACK INTO THE SHOW. VIA THE RUNWAY. WHILE MODELS WERE ON IT. Apologies for the caps lock, but IT IS NECESSARY."

Tom might also have been at the Rachel Roy fashion show, but I'm not sure. I found this line: "Hung star, Thomas Jane, impressed his girfriend by introducing her to the designer.", in a news blurb, but when I went to the whole article, there's no mention...

They've really been working him hard at fashion week.

As for the Herve Leger thing (much more drama than it deserved).

For photography reasons, temporary seat fillers for front row seats are common protocol.

Thomas was also at the Fashion's Night Out party wearing some duds by designer John Varvatos & lookin' sharp.

There are quite a few exaggerated reports popping up that need to be put to bed.

They are just short of a roaring Viking storming the catwalk in a maniacal daze &

leaving fashion carnage strewn about in a shockingly pearl clutching moment.

These shows often begin well past said time leaving people waiting (and they did).

Had they waited just two more minutes this subject would not be mooted. It's the

overreactions that are truly ridiculous. Despite the lack of a raised stage and some

awkward, middle of the runway seating for others, Thomas quickly slinked into his

place and even helped to guide the woman sitting in his chair out of the way. The

walkway was kept clear throughout as can be seen here in the video below.

-Nothing happened-

Thomas is seen 90 seconds into the show, so it isn't necessary to watch the whole

thing to the clapping finale, unless you're a fashion geek (cough, cough, like me).

Look for him at the 01:37 mark, but don't blink or you'll miss all the hubbub, really.

See for yourself.....

Seating and er... stage = uncomfortable.

Lol!! Thanks for clearing that up, Blondie! It's hilarious how those fashion freaks (and internet bloggers) get all bent out of shape over nothing.

And btw, Tom was looking sharp this week. He's been posting pics all week on Twitter and FB from fashion week. Glad to see he's enjoying himself.

Now if only those hysterical fashion bloggers would just shut up about it.

Thanks for the perspective on this! It's hard to know what's what when reading these gossipy-type blogs and whatnot online...

Tom was at premiere of 2nd season of Boardwalk Empire - and also at HBO's Emmys AfterParty. That's all I know right now, except that I saw a pic of Tom from the Boardwalk prem, and he looked sharp! ;)

Tom was at the A Dangerous Method premiere looking comfy in a blue cardigan. I added a couple of pix at my Thomas Jane 2 Yahoo Group.

TJ and Peter Weller reading Shane Black's new script and Austin Film

Thanks for posting about that event! It sounds like it was an amazing reading. Love the part about how Tom got really into it and the other actors started to follow his lead. :D

It's cool that the site also posted 2 pix from the reading.

That's one of the more messed up things about Hollywood, Shane Black should be able to get a movie made when he wants to. Maybe after Iron Man 3, he'll get more goodwill to make more movies.

Here's a little out 'n' about tidbit:

Thomas Jane, the star of the HBO series "Hung," was with noir-film-ophile Eddie

Muller at the Hypnodrome on Nov. 17 for a performance of "Shocktoberfest 12:

Fear Over Frisco." Jane was so taken with the macabre decor of the theater that

he started taking photos of the place as soon as he got there.
