  1. It must be awfully bright in there! Thanks for posting the pics.
  2. I liked Henry Poole Is Here as well, and was sorry to see it described as little seen.
  3. I guess he has an okay chin. I wonder if they compared the bottom half of different actors' headshots.
  4. Is this going to be available through the RAW Store?
  5. I'm not sure brave is the word for it.
  6. [quote name='JWeber' date='Jul 13 2010, 01:21 P As for going after Pheonix, I don't get that. I hear he's not the easiest to get along with either. Why not go after someone who won't talk back. That, or kiss and make up. I'd rather have Norton back. I thought Phoenix retired from acting to concentrate on his hip-hop career? I guess you'd have the curiosity factor there, but it seems they would have to offer him a ton of cash to get him back into acting.
  7. If someone could get work in the film industry only if they were a practically perfect person, there would not be anything in the theaters to see. Considering the news cycle, we'll be hearing about someone else's private problems being aired in public sooner rather than later. Mel can have a long career behind the camera.
  8. Tim commented on FB that a close friend of Tom's passed away yesterday morning, and that is why he cancelled.
  9. I have not seen Splice but, yeah, Species was the first thing I thought of when I saw the commercial for Splice. Predators looks more promising to me.
  10. Thanks for the link. Some interesting stills there. I'm guessing Splice was big on gory and creepy?
  11. Happy birthday down under Andrew! Is it different when you have to hang onto the world upside down?
  12. I'm guessing pretty much ANY audience is a wanted audience. Let me make it clear that I am not a Miley fan, but she is a small part of the entertainment establishment in Nashville. I'm not much into Country music, but since I live just outside of Nashville, it's difficult to avoid hearing about it in the news. If TJ is still interested in doing the Glen Sherley biopic, being in the Miley-sphere, could be helpful. And whether you like it or not, this flick will be on a big screen near you.
  13. Really? I think it's a great idea. A whole new audience will be exposed to his screen presence. His last two flicks have gone straight to video and he's on a show on HBO that I haven't seen yet because I don't get HBO. HBO may be peachy, but it is a limited audience. A project with a more diverse audience is wonderful. Don't forget that a lot of those girls that see the movie will be going with their Moms. Gotta give the Mom something worth the ticket price.
  14. I bet that makes Harlow happy. It doesn't sound like he has a very big role, but maybe he'll have two or three good scenes. Just so long as he doesn't wear his hair like Billy Ray.
  15. I just pop straight in from my bookmark. I only have to log in when I'm on a different computer. I have no clue about the guest function either.
  16. If that's the case, then why are some users designated as guests? I assumed those were folks who were just taking a look, but you have to register if you want to comment. Is that not correct?
  17. I guess I always thought of this flick as comic book genre, not western genre. Appaloosa is western genre. Considering that Jonah Hex and Wild, Wild West have been mentioned in the same sentence, I don't think I can bring myself to watch this flick, even on DVD.
  18. TB - You know how I love the textures in your work? It's almost the same when you share the scoop with us in signature Bradstreet detail! Looking forward to seeing BPII come to fruition.
  19. Wow Aly, it sounds like you're going to get a Bradstreet escort to the man himself! You go girl! And when you get back, be sure to tell us all about it. Have fun!
  20. Comparing it to Wild Wild West pretty much kills it for me. As far as the scarring goes, a scar like that would be a bit of a hindrance, I would think. I won't have to think long, though. I'll wait for this to hit netflix. I'm sure the hubby will like watching Megan, if nothing else.
  21. I'm pretty sure Jesus never killed anybody.
  22. I'm guessing so that it will appeal to a broader audience. You can't make your dashing leading man look too hideous. Reminiscent of Mel Gibson in the flick, what was it called, Man Without A Face?
  23. I was surprised and very happy to see Lee Majors in a decent guest role tonight. Can't remember the last time I've seen him in anything beside those stinking hearing aid commercials. I liked the back story. I'm going to be very disappointed if this show doesn't come back next year.
  24. I didn't understand this part. i thought Jin and Sun were married, so why the idea that they are sneaking around behind her father's back? Did I miss something? And yes, that stupid red V was annoying.
