Just had to do a quick drive-by to say that Tom is FANTASTIC in Hung!
  2. I just bought the Kindle version of El Borak from Amazon. Not ONE bloody piece of art is included! Well, what can I expect for $.80? I'm so incredibly spoiled by the MAX Punisher compilations. I want quality, satiney paper that my fingers glide over sensously, not too many panels per page so I can thoroughly enjoy the artistic detail of each one, and the glorious colors! Oof! Nomad

Congratulations, Tom, on HBO picking up your series. It's every actor's dream...STEADY WORK! Now, about you and Nick Fury...? Nomad
  4. Hey, Tim! Where's that Michael Wandmacher thread? I didn't see a better place to post this article, so here it is: December 5, 2008 MICHAEL WANDMACHER SCORES 3D REMAKE OF 'MY BLOODY VALENTINE' (Los Angeles, CA) – Composer Michael Wandmacher writes a chilling score for My Bloody Valentine 3-D. The film, from Lionsgate, is a remake of the 1981 horror film about a Valentine’s Day massacre. Tom (Jensen Ackles) returns home on the ten year anniversary of the massacre, only to find himself suspected of the murders that keep occurring. Jaime King co-stars as his old flame and the only

  6. The moment was memorialised forever. Here's Bratstreet signing and displaying Norse Sage's litho: Isn't he cute? I swear, he's just adorable! Nomad
  7. Woo hoo! This is exciting news! Ennis and Dillon! I adore Dillon's art on Preacher. It's hard to imagine how they're going to resurrect Ma Gnucci, though. When last seen, she seemed pretty dead to me. Done to a crisp, you might say! Nomad Ma's Home! Ennis talks "Punisher: War Zone" by Dave Richards, Staff Writer Category: Comic Books Tue, September 9th, 2008 at 6:02AM PST Updated: Tue, September 9th, 2008 at 8:29AM PST Garth Ennis & Steve Dillon return to Frank Castle in December's "Punisher War Zone" For almost a decade, the name Garth Ennis has b
  8. When I heard Ray Stevenson was cast in PWZ, I didn't know a thing about comics, comic movies, or that ANY of this world existed. So I went out and bought all the MAX Punisher series and both previous Punisher films. I watched the films first, before reading the comics. Now that I've read them, and many more comics/graphic novels I've loved, I'm going to watch both films again. I'm wondering not whether, but HOW differently I'll see them both. Should be interesting! 9. "Like the rest of you, I'm a huge fan of Vangelis and his incredible score to Blade Runner. But have you ever heard his score for 1492: Conquest Of Paradise? Absolutely stunning. Or try "El Greco" (A non score), or "Mythodea" - Music For The NASA Mission: 2001 Mars Odyssey. The good composers are worth exploring."~ TB That was the very first film score I ever bought. I've replaced it several times, I play it so often. But I'm going to read this thread with pen and paper in hand, and make a list of goodies I've missed. Did you ever hear a score for an otherwise forgetable film cal
  10. Very cool stuff, KT7777. There's so much great work on this thread, I'm going to need to return and study each thing carefully. Nomad
  11. I love this, Arsh! Have you ever met TitusPullo over on RS.com? He's a MASTER photochopper and he does some hysterical stuff. You and he could have a "chop-off!" Nomad
  12. Ooh! That reminds me of this thing from Star Wars. I forgot the name of it. Good thread, this. Nomad
